Passamaquoddy Pleasant Point Reservation is an Indian reservation located in Washington County, Maine. As of the 2000 census, the Indian reservation had a total population of 640.

1 Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the Indian reservation has a total area of 1.2 km˛ (0.5 mi˛). None of the area is covered with water.

2 Demographics

As of the census 2 of 2000, there are 640 people, 233 households, and 160 families residing in the Indian reservation. The population density is 525.8/km˛ (1,376.2/mi˛). There are 256 housing units at an average density of 210.3/km˛ (550.5/mi˛). The racial makeup of the Indian reservation is 9.38% White, 0.00% Black or African American, 88.59% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.31% from other races, and 1.72% from two or more races. 1.25% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 233 households out of which 43.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 29.6% are married couplesMarriage is a relationship that plays a key role in the definition of many families.
