Outback Steakhouse is a US-based themed restaurant chain with locations all over the world using the Australian outback as the theme. The restaurants are decorated with Australian icons such as boomerangs, pictures of kangaroos, koalas etc. To further show their dedication to the theme, the items on the menu are accompanied by animals, things, or places found in Australia. For example, the Ayers Rock Strip and Kookaburra Wings, to name a few. During Christmas season, some restaurants hang their Christmas trees upside down from the ceiling to emphasize their origin from "the land down under".
Not surprisingly, Outback Steakhouse serves the pseudo-Australian beer brand Foster's Beer.
