The Nkomati Accord was a nonagression treaty signed in 1984 between Mozambique and the Republic of South Africa. Its focus was on preventing Mozambique from supplying materials to the African National Congress ( ANC) on the one hand, and South Africa from supplying the Mozambique National Resistance ( Renamo), on the other.
