The Nissan 240SX was a car introduced by Nissan in 1989 as a rebadged 'Pignose' 180SX featuring the KA24E engine, as opposed to the CA18DET or SR20DET of its JDM cousin. It was upgraded to the standard RPS13 body (along with a ' Onevia ' coupe model, a hybrid body not produced outside of the 240SX product line) in 1991, and also aquired a dual-cam KA24DE engine. A convertible debuted in 1993. The 240SX was redesigned with the S14 'Zenki' Silvia body in the Spring of 1994 as a 1995 model and the convertible was dropped during that year. From 1997- 1998, it sported the S14A 'Kouki' Silvia body style as sales dwindled. Every 240SX was built in Kyushu, Japan. The last 240SX rolled off the assembly line on July 23, 1998. This car is a USDM-only variant of the Nissan Silvia and Nissan 180SX sold throughout the world. 240SX
