Nancy Sinatra ( June 8, 1940 - ) is an American singer and actress. She is the daughter of the legendary singer Frank Sinatra.

Her career peaked in the late 1960s with a string of pop music hits. Her best-known hit, " These Boots were Made for Walking "--which popularized and made her synonymous with Go-Go boots --was written by Lee Hazelwood . Other well-known hits included "Somethin' Stupid", a duet with her father, and "Some Velvet Morning", a duet with Lee Hazelwood. The latter had many cover versions, including a version by Primal Scream.

Nancy also co-starred in a number of films including Speedway with Elvis Presley. At the age of 55 she posed for Playboy in their March, 1995 issue.

Recently, a song covered by her, "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)", was used in the Quentin Tarantino hit film Kill BillKill Bill is the fourth feature film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. Uma Thurman plays a character known only as "The Bride" (for the first half of the movie, at least) who is set on getting revenge against "Bill" ( David Carradine) and his squ Volume One.

More recently, she has collaborated with MorrisseySteven Patrick Morrissey (born May 22, 1959 in Manchester in England) dropped his forenames to become Morrissey the lead singer of the seminal UK indie' band, The Smiths. When the band broke up in 1987, Morrissey developed a successful solo career. The Sm, recording a version of his top-ten, 2004 hit, "Let Me Kiss You."
