Multiplan was an early spreadsheet program developed by Microsoft. Multiplan for the Apple Macintosh was Microsoft's first GUI spreadsheet. It was text-based on CP/M and MS-DOS systems, such as the IBM PC. A text-based version was also available for the Commodore 64 and the Texas Instruments TI-99/4A.
It was replaced by Microsoft Excel for Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh.
