Melicope is a genus of about 150 species of shrubs and trees in the family Rutaceae, occurring from Hawaii west to tropical Asia and south to Australia and New Zealand. In Australia, they are known as Corkwood or Doughwood, and in Hawaii as Alani.

Several of the Hawaiian species - including all those listed in the box (right) - are listed as federally endangered due to habitat loss and competition from invasive non-native plants.
