Megan Mullally (born November 12, 1958 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actress.

The daughter of a model and an actor, Mullally decided as a child that she would become an actress. Growing up in Oklahoma, her popularity in college stage productions led to Mullally determining her future, and she dropped out of college to pursue her acting goal. She moved back to Los Angeles but was unable to find success. Small parts in such films as Risky Business ( 1983), and About Last Night ( 1986) followed but it was not until 1998 that she secured her first real success as an actress.
