Mandan is a city located in Morton County, North Dakota. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 16,718. It is the county seat of Morton County 6.

1 Geography

Mandan is located at 46°49'44" North, 100°53'28" West (46.828893, -100.891138) 1.

As of the census 2 of 2000, there are 16,718 people, 6,647 households, and 4,553 families residing in the city. The population density is 634.1/km˛ (1,642.8/mi˛).
