Marshall, Malcolm
Probably will go down in history as the best West Indian fast bowler of all time, and one of the best ever from anywhere. Made his name with out-and-out pace, despite his medium height, becoming prominent in the WI team in 1983 (after more senior fellow fast bowlers Colin Croft and Sylvester Clarke went on a rebel tour to South Africa), and became a very intelligent bowler who could do a lot with the ball in his later years. Was instrumental in many of the WIian wins in the eighties.
He died of colon cancer in 1999.
