Name source William D. MacMillan

Macmillan is a bowl-shaped lunar impact crater on the eastern fringes of the Mare Imbrium. It is located just to the southwest of a lone rise, near the southwest edge of the Montes Archimedes .

This crater was identified as Archimedes F before being renamed by the IAU.
