Spiral Galaxy M100 (also known as Messier Object 100, Messier 100, M100 or NGC 4321) is a spiral galaxy in the Coma Berenices constellation. It was discovered by Pierre Méchain in 1781. M100 is located at 17 Megaparsecs from Earth and has a diameter of 36,800 parsecs. It is one of the brightest members of the Virgo cluster.1 Related topics
