She is one of the few women in WWE who is generally respected as a wrestler. She came to a wide audience first in Extreme Championship Wrestling in 1999 as the valet for Danny Doring and Amish Roadkill , known as "Miss Congeniality." She left ECW for WWE in late 1999.
Upon her arrival in WWE, she was placed as the valet for a lucha libre wrestler named Essa Rios . As her popularity rose, she was placed with the Hardy Boyz to become Team Xtream her career skyrocketed along with Matt and Jeff during the WWE Attitude era.
While filming a guest appearance on the FOX TV series Dark Angel in 2002, she suffered a severe neck injury that required surgery. She returned as a color comentator on WWE Sunday Night Heat. She came back to in-ring action in September 2003.
