Laurence Eusden ( 1688 - 1730) was an English poet.

He was born in Spofforth in North Yorkshire and studied at Cambridge University. He was ordained a cleric in the 1720s and served as rector of Coningsby in Lincolnshire.

He was appointed Poet Laureate in 1718 after writing a poem commemorating the wedding of Thomas Pelham-Holles, 1st Duke of Newcastle, also Lord Chamberlain. Little-read today, he is one of several poets called "dull" in Alexander Pope's satire The Dunciad.
