This is a list of kings of Arnor from the fictional universe of Middle-earth novels by J. R. R. Tolkien.

The Kings of Arnor through Amandil claimed descent from the Lords of Andúnië, and from there to Silmariën and the Kings of Númenor.

  7. TarondorTarondor is a fictional character in J. Tolkien's universe of Middle-earth. He ascended the throne of Arnor in 515 T. on the death of his father Tarcil. He should not be confused with his more famous namesake, Tarondor of Gondor. His reign was without any r. 372–602
  8. ValandurValandur is a fictional character in J. Tolkien's universe of Middle-earth. He ascended the throne of Arnor in 462 T. on the death of his father Tarondor. He was killed in hostilities in 652 T. but the exact circumstances of his death were unknown. Duneda r. 462–652
  9. ElendurElendur is the name of two fictional characters in J. Tolkien's universe of Middle-earth. The first Elendur ( S. 2) was the son of Isildur, who fell beside him at Gladden Fields. Before the disaster, he alone of the sons counselled Isildur to return the O r. 530–777
  10. EärendurEarendur is a fictional character in J. Tolkien's universe of Middle-earth. He ascended the throne of Arnor in 777 T. after the death of his father Elendur. He died in 861 T. Earendur had three sons, who all claimed the throne. To prevent civil war, the K r. 777–861, last King of Arnor.
Elendil and Isildur were Kings of GondorGondor is a fictional location from J. Tolkien's Middle-earth. History Like Arnor to the north, Gondor is a human kingdom founded by the line of Elendil after the Downfall of Numenor. It was located to the south of Rohan and to the west of Mordor, on the as well as Arnor, but after Isildur the realm was split. After Eärendur the realm of Arnor was split between his three sons, founding the realms of ArthedainIn the fiction of J. Tolkien, Arthedain was one of the three kingdoms of Middle-earth that resulted from the breakup of Arnor during the Third Age. During the reign of Earendur his sons were in open discord, which erupted into civil war after Earendur's d, CardolanCardolan is a fictional country from J. Tolkien's universe of Middle-earth. It was a breakaway realm of the Dunedain kingdom of Arnor. After the death of its tenth King Earendur, his sons divided the kingdom into the kingdoms of Arthedain, Rhudaur and Car and RhudaurRhudaur is a fictional country from J. Tolkien universe of Middle-earth. Rhudaur was the smallest of the kingdoms originated from the break up of Arnor ( T. The other kingdoms were Arthedain and Cardolan. Right from the start of its existence it was unfri: the elder line of Kings continued with the Kings of Arthedain. In 1349 T.A. the descedants of Eärendur had died out in Cardolan and Rhudaur, and Argeleb I of Arthedain again claimed the title King of Arnor. The Kings of Arthedain were then added to the elder list of Kings. Argeleb, 7th King of Arthedain, is thus referred to as the 17th of the Kings of Arnor, and Arvedui was the 25th and last King of the Northern Line. The list of Kings of Arthedain follows here:
