Having appeared in pretty much every relevant British comedy television show of the 1990s, he has a credit list longer than most British performers.
Starting on the standup circuit in the early '90s performing an act in character as a political poet, Eldon formed a friendship with the stand up comedian Stewart Lee, which would later lead to an invitation to work with Lee & on his radio series with comedy partner Richard Herring, "Lee & Herring's Fist Of Fun".
Eldon's work sat well with that of Lee & Herring, and he continued to work with them on all their projects, including The Lee & Herring Radio Show, Fist Of Fun & This Morning With Richard Not Judy, providing a multitude of characters, most noteably 'The False Rod Hull' & hobby king 'Simon Quinlank'.
As well as work with Lee & Herring, Eldon has appeared in many more projects. He has appeared in Brass Eye, Spaced, Black Books, Big Train, World of Pub , The Sunday Show , Comedy Nation , Cows (the ill-fated Eddie Izzard penned sitcom which followed the life of a family of cows), Jam, I'm Alan Partridge, Attention Scum , Cluub Zarathrustra and much, much more.
Kevin Eldon is a Buddhist.
