Drummer Kenney Jones was a member of renowned British pop-rock band the Small Faces from 1965 to 1969.

After the departure of lead singer/guitarist Steve Marriott in 1969, the group recruited singer Rod Stewart and guitarist Ron Wood (both ex Jeff Beck Group) and changed their name to The Faces. Jones remained with the band until its dissolution in 1975, recording six LPs with them.

In 1978 Jones joined The Who, replacing original drummer Keith Moon, who had died from drug-related causes.

After leaving the Who, Jones formed a partnership with former Bad Company singer Paul Rodgers in the early 1990's, forming a band called The Law.

Jones has also performed on many recording sessions, including appearances on albums by The Rolling Stones, Andy Fairweather Low , Joan Armatrading, Marsha Hunt, Mike Batt , Pete Townshend, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee LewisJerry Lee Lewis (born September 29, 1935) is an American rock and roll pioneer piano player and singer. On behalf of The Small Faces and in memory of his late colleagues Steve Marriott and Ronnie LaneSinger, songwriter and bass player Ronnie Lane (nicknamed "Plonk") is best known for his membership in two prominent British rock bands, The Small Faces (1965-69) and The Faces (1970-75). He quit The Faces in 1973 and formed his own band Slim Chance in 19, Jones established a children's charity, The Small Faces Charitable Trust, in 1999.
