Angelina Johnson is a tall black girl with long braided hair, two years older than Harry. She was born in late October of 1977.
In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, she was among the people who entered their names to the Goblet as possible champions for Hogwarts, but was not selected. In the same book, she was asked by Fred Weasley to the Yule Ball and accepted. They made quite a pair, dancing so energetically together that other couples gave them a wide berth on the dance floor for fear of getting hurt. Lee Jordan also finds her quite attractive, and has apparently been trying to convince her to go out with him for several years, without any success.
After Oliver Wood left Hogwarts, Angelina became Quidditch captain and proved to be at least as demanding of her players as Oliver was. She attributed this to the stress of the job, and said once that she now wished she hadn't been so hard on Oliver when he was captain.
In the films, she is played by Danielle Taylor , who is also sometimes credited as Danielle Tabor.
Alicia Spinnet was on the reserve team the year before Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, but she joined the team the next year. Alicia is most often the chaser who attempts penalty shots for Gryffindor when the other team commits a foul. She is played by Leilah Sutherland in the first film, and Rochelle Douglas in the second.
