Joan Roberts (b. 15 July 1918) is the American actress who created the role of Laurey Williams in the original Broadway production of Oklahoma! in 1943.She was born in New York City.
She had been in retirement as a mother and grandmother, living on Long Island for many years, when she took on the role of Heidi Schiller in the 2001 Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim's Follies.
