The (second) Jin Dynasty (金 jin1 1115- 1234; Anchu in Jurchen ) or Jurchen dynasty was founded by Wanyan (完顏 wan2 yan2) clan of the Jurchen who also established the Qing Dynasty some 500 years later. The first dynasty seated at Beijing, it was annihilated by Mongols led by Ögedei Khan, third son of Genghis Khan. The name is sometimes written as Jinn to differentiate it from the earlier Jin.
