Jenny Wilhelms (born 1974) is a Finnish musician. She is lead singer in folk band Gjallarhorn. Wilhelms has studied classical and folk music in many Nordic countries.

Wilhelms is focused on the vocal and fiddling tradition in Scandinavia and has studied various Nordic folk music styles. She is working professionally with folk music but also studies at the Sibelius Academy folk music department in Helsinki.

Wilhelms has studied in music high school of Vaasa, Malungs Folkhögskola , ( Dalarna, Sweden), The Conservatory of Keski-Pohjanmaa, ( Kokkola, Finland), The Sibelius Academy, (Helsinki, Finland) and The Grieg Academy : Ole Bull Academy, ( Voss, Norway)

Wilhelms arranges and composes folk music for choirs and vocal ensembles. Her four pieces, ordered for the 55th anniversary of the Flora Female Choir at the Åbo Academy , won the first price in a Scandinavian Choir arranging competition in 1999For the album by Prince, see 1999 (album 1999 is a common year starting on Friday (see link for calendar), and was designated the International Year of Older Persons by the UN. Wilhelms has studied and teached the medieval ballads of Scandinavia, Finnish runo-chanting , Icelandic rímur chanting and Cow calling ( kulningKulning or herding calls (sometimes called kolning, kaukning) are a domestic Scandinavian song form, probably used for herding livestock and scaring away predators ( wolves, bears, etc. The song form has (probably always) been performed by women.
