Jenny Joseph (born 1932) is one of the UK's foremost living poets.

She was born in Birmingham, and studied English literature at St Hilda's College, Oxford, before becoming a journalist. Her first collection of poetry was published in 1960. Her poem entitled When I Am an Old Woman is her most popular work, and inspiration for the Red Hat Society.
