Home > Jenners

Jenners Department Store, located near the Scott Monument on Princes Street in Edinburgh, is the world's oldest independent department store with a history dating back to 1838. It contains over 100 different departments selling a large variety of goods.

Particularly well known and liked by the locals at Christmas time Jenners place a very tall Christmas tree inside their store which rises up throughout their 4 floors! Their Christmas department is well worth a visit.

Often dubbed the Harrods of Scotland, it gains a certain cachet from being the store that the Queen shops at when in Scotland, and for this reason is the holder of a Royal Warrant.

'If you can't find it in Jenners, then it's not worth having...'
