Jason Truby is an American guitar player. He began his career in the mid-1990s when he joined Living Sacrifice as their lead guitarist. He left Living Sacrifice in 1997 to spend time with his family. However, in 2003, P.O.D. needed a new guitarist, so they called Jason. He joined them as a temporary replacement in time to record their hit single, Sleeping Awake. He became a full-time member soon after that.

In 2004, Truby released a solo acoustic album, entitled String Theory. Truby recorded 24 instrumental tracks, using 19 different guitars.
