Jared Leto (born December 26, 1971 in Bossier City, Louisiana) is an American actor. His first major acting performance was in the television series My So-Called Life. From there, he continued with movies such as How to Make an American Quilt , The Thin Red Line, Fight Club, Girl, Interrupted, American Psycho and Requiem for a Dream.

He was twice chosen by People magazine as one of their 50 Most Beautiful People ( 1996 and 1997).
