Jämtland County, or Jämtlands län, is a County or län in the north of Sweden. It borders to the counties of Dalarna, Gävleborg, Västernorrland, and Västerbotten. It also borders to the Norwegian county of Nord-Trøndelag.

Jämtland County is divided upon the provinces of Jemtia and Herdalia.

2 Administration

Main article: Jämtland County Administrative Board

The main aim of the County Administrative Board is to fulfil the goals set in national politics by the Parliament and the GovernmentSweden is a constitutional monarchy with a representative democracy based on a parliamentary system. The affairs of Government are decided by a Cabinet of Ministers, which is led by a Prime Minister. The Cabinet and the Prime Minister are responsible for, to coordinate the interests and promote the development of the county, to establish regional goals and safeguard the due process of law in the handling of each case.
