Home > James Ewing


James Ewing (1866-1943) was the first Professor of Pathology at Cornell University, a position which he kept for 33 years. He was a leading cancer pathologist and co-founded the American Society for the Control of Cancer (now the American Cancer Society). In 1920 he presented his paper on the malignant bone tumor that was later became known as Ewing%27s_Sarcoma .
