Starting 2004, Jack Dee has his own tv show on the BBC, called Jack Dee - Live at the Apollo. Every week, Jack invites a stand up comedian from the national or internatial scene for a 30-minute set. Previous comedians include Jo Brand, Ross Noble, Ardal O’Hanlon , Joan Rivers and Omid Djalili. The show aires at 22.35 every monday evening on BBC 1.

Jack Dee has also had some success as a straight actor, notably in an episode of the BBC drama series, Silent WitnessSilent Witness is a long-running British television thriller series made by the BBC's in-house Drama Serials production department, and screened on the BBC One network.
