Iwaki (いわき市; -shi) is a city located in Fukushima, Japan.

As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 357,681 and the density of 290.53 persons per kmē. The total area is 1,231.13 kmē.

The city was founded on October 1, 1966, after Taira , three other towns, and five villages were combined into the city of Iwaki.
