Iqbal Town

Iqbal Town (also known as Allama Iqbal Town) is a nice locality in the city of Lahore. It was established about 30 years ago and has seen many ups and downs since then. Its distinguishing feature has been the fact that it has been a home to the prevailing middle class in the city. Over the years, people have migrated to and from this place. Many roads and streets have been commercialized recently, due to which the traffic condition has become very bad.

Because of the fact that the Shahnoor and Bari studios are situated very close to this area, many film actors and actresses used to live here in the past. However, most of them have now entered into the elite class and have therefore moved to the posh areas.
