The World Scout Jamboree (Jamboree Mondial in French) is a gathering of Scouts (ages 14-17) from all over the world. Jamborees are held every four years and are organized by the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM). The World Scout Moot is a similar event, also organized by the WOSM, for Scouts aged 18-30.Two other worldwide Scouting events occur every year: the simultaneous World Scout Jamboree On The Air ( JOTA) and the World Scout Jamboree On The Internet ( JOTI). Recently, the Jamboree on the Trail ( JOTT) has been founded as an international day of hiking.
