ILFC (International Lease Finance Corporation) has headquarters in Los Angeles, California, USA. It is the world's largest aircraft lessor. It leases Boeing and Airbus aircraft to airlines from all the world, including: Air France, KLM, Lufthansa, American Airlines, Continental Airlines and Emirates.

ILFC is owned by U.S. insurance giant AIG. It is run by Steven F. Udvar-Hazy. ILFC's primary competitor is GECASGECAS (or GE Capital Aviation Services though the acronym is the more common usage) is a unit of GE Capital, itself part of the large conglomerate General Electric. GECAS is responsible for the leasing of aircraft and associated equipment to airlines., a unit of the enormous conglomerate General ElectricGeneral Electric Company or GE is a multinational technology and services company, one of the world's largest corporations. While it still uses its full name for legal purposes, it prefers to use the abbreviation GE in the names of its component businesse.
