Home > Ihah

Ihah is a variant of the Tetragrammaton used as a suffix in many names in LDS scripture, particularly the Book of Mormon and the Pearl of Great Price. Just as Jah removes certain letters from the Tetragrammaton, "Ihah" reduces the four-letter name of the Lord to three letters, in this case יהה -îhāh, omitting the ו wāw between the two instances of ה .
