Home > Idaho Statesman

The Idaho Statesman is the most successful daily newspaper in the state of Idaho, first published in 1865 as the Idaho Tri-Weekly Statesman. The Statesman is based in Boise, Idaho, but covers the entire state in its circulation area; it is the only paper that is easily acquired in all major Idahoan cities and towns. It also has more employees than any other newspaper in the area, with a work-force of 450. Once independent, the Idaho Statesman has been run by Gannett newspapers since the mid- 1990s.
