1 Geography

Icard is located at 35°43'33" North, 81°27'30" West (35.725807, -81.458381) 1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 10.2 km² (3.9 mi²). 10.2 km² (3.9 mi²) of it is land and 0.25% is water.

2 Demographics

As of the census 2 of 2000, there are 2,734 people, 1,121 households, and 784 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 268.6/km² (696.4/mi²). There are 1,198 housing units at an average density of 117.7/km² (305.1/mi²).
