Ian Hanomansing is a television journalist with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. He is the anchor of the national portion of Canada Now, the CBC's supperhour newscast. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Hanomansing also co-hosts Hemispheres, a weekly international documentary program on CBC Newsworld, co-produced by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

Born in Trinidad, Hanomansing grew up in New Brunswick and has a law degree. He worked for CBC bureaus in the Maritimes before moving to Vancouver, where he was a network reporter and hosted the now-defunct program Foreign Assignment.

As a reporter, Hanomansing has covered a number of stories, including the L.A. riots and the handover of Hong Kong from Great Britain.
