Highly commercially sucessfull was archiving system for SAP R/3 product. Its sucess allowed the company to grow considerably and obtain funding from SAP, Intel and venture funds.
In year 1998 the company went IPO. After promising start its market value climbed down significantly and all company founders were fired.
In year 2004 iXOS was acquired by competitor Open Text.
