Humphrey de Bohun, 7th Baron de Bohun and 3rd Earl of Hereford ( 1249 - December 31, 1297) was the son of Humphrey de Bohun, 2nd Earl of Hereford and 6th Baron de Bohun, by Alianore De Braos. He was also Earl of Essex, Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports, and Constable of all England .

Humphrey de Bohun took part in Roger Mortimer's war against the Welsh, and was present at the defeat at Cefnllys in November, 1262, by Llywelyn ap Gruffydd. He died at Pleshy Castle, in Essex.

1 Family

Humphry Bohun married Maud de Fiennes sometime between 1264-1279. Maud was born between 1236-1259, a daughter of Engerrand de Fiennes. She died before 1347.

His son Humphrey de Bohun, 4th Earl of Hereford, succeeded him as the 8th Baron de Bohun.

1.1 Ancestors

The 6th Baron de Bohun was also a son of a Humphrey de Bohun, the 5th Baron (son of Henry de Bohun, Earl of Hereford and Maud Fitz-Geoffrey de Mandeville, Countess Of Essex) and Maud de Lusignan, the Lady Hastings. He was born between 1222 and 1238, and died October 27, 1265. He married Alianore de Braos, a daughter of William de Braos and Eve Marshall.

Humphry de Bohun, 5th Baron de Bohun was born 1208, and died September 24, 1275.
