1 Geography

Hot Springs is located at 47°36'32" North, 114°40'19" West (47.608957, -114.672063) ¹.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.8 km² (0.3 mi²). 0.8 km² (0.3 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

It is located near several mineral hot springs developed as a spa, from which the down derives its name.

2 Demographics

As of the census ² of 2000, there are 531 people, 280 households, and 126 families residing in the town. The population density is 661.4/km² (1,739.1/mi²). There are 385 housing units at an average density of 479.5/km² (1,260.9/mi²).
