Honoré-Mercier is the name of a federal electoral district in Quebec, Canada. Its population is 100,981 ( 2001).

1 Geography

The district includes the former City of Anjou, the eastern part of the neighbourhood of Rivière-des-Prairies , and the northern part of the neighbourhood of Tetreauville in the City of Montreal.

2 History

The electoral district of Anjou—Rivière-des-Prairies was created in 1987 from Mercier and Saint-Léonard—Anjou . The name was changed to Honoré-Mercier in 2004.
