Hønefoss is a town in Norway, administratively part of Ringerike. It has 13 400 inhabitans. It is located north of lake Tyrifjorden, where Begna river forms Høne waterfalls, giving the town its name. It is the place of many factories.In 2002 Hønefoss celebrated its 150th year as an official acknowledged city.
