Hamilton County (standard abbreviation: HM) is a county located in the U.S. State of Kansas. As of 2000, the population is 2,670. Its county seat is Syracuse, Kansas 6.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 2,584 km˛ (998 mi˛). 2,581 km˛ (996 mi˛) of it is land and 3 km˛ (1 mi˛) of it is water. The total area is 0.11% water.
