Two ships of the Royal Australian Navy have been named for the city of Geelong in Victoria.

The first HMAS Geelong (J-201) was a Bathurst class corvette laid down by the Melbourne Harbour Trust at Williamstown in Victoria on 16 October 1940, launched on 22 April 1941 by Lady Dugan, wife of the Governor of Victoria, and commissioned on 16 January 1942.
