HD 12661 b is a gas giant two and a half times bigger than Jupiter. Its composition is sulfuric, meaning that it would be yellowish in colour with acidic clouds. It has an eccentric orbit within the star's habitability zone, which means that if any of its moons have atmospheres, they have the potential to harbour life.

HD 12661 c is a gas giant one and a half times the size of Jupiter. It has an eccentric orbit which briefly brings it close to the outer edge of the star's habitability zone.
