HBO Boxing is a successful TV series that has shown many of boxing's greatest fights and historic events during the last 30 years. HBO Boxing has always tried to bring only the top quality fighters and matches to HBO subscribers in the United States and various other countries worldwide.HBO Boxing's first event was fought in Kingston, Jamaica, where George Foreman defeated Joe Frazier in 2 rounds to win the world Heavyweight title.

- The Battle of The Champions, where Aaron Pryor beat Alexis Arguello in the 80's fight of the decade
- Carnival of Champions, where Wilfredo Gomez beat Lupe PintorGuadalupe Pintor (born April 13, 1955), better known as Lupe Pintor in the boxing world, is a former boxer from Cuajimalpa, Mexico. Pintor, nicknamed El Indio De Cuajimalpa The Indian From Cuajimalpa started his professional boxing career in 1974, when he, and Thomas HearnsThomas Hearns (born October 18, 1958), aka "the Hit Man" and "the Motor City Cobra", is a professional boxer. - Marvin HaglerMarvelous Marvin Hagler (born May 23, 1954), a native of Brockton, Massachusetts, was a very tough looking character, and a number one ranked Middleweight boxer for many years before he could fight for the title. - Thunder Meets LightningThunder Meets Lightning was the boxing world championship fight held on March 31, 1990 between WBC Jr Welterweight world champion Julio Cesar Chavez of Mexico and IBF world champion Meldrick Taylor of the United States. The fight was held in Las Vegas, Ne, where Julio Cesar Chavez beat Meldrick Taylor with 2 seconds to go, the biggest upset in boxing history, where James 'Buster' Douglas beat Mike Tyson for the world heavyweight title
- The Bite Fight , where Evander Holyfield won on a disqualification over Tyson because Tyson bit Holyfield's ears
- Fight of the Millennium, where Félix Trinidad beat Oscar De La Hoya to unify the world Welterweight title
HBO Boxing has also had two spin-off series, the successful HBO's Boxing After Dark , and the short lived KO Nation .
Additionally, a video game carrying the brand name HBO Boxing was produced for the Sony PlayStation.
