Guyford Stever (born 1916) was a U.S. administrator, educator and engineer. He served as the president of Carnegie-Mellon University between 1965 and 1972. He also served as the director of the National Science Foundation from 1972 until 1976. Finally he was a presidential science advisor between 1973 and 1977.
