The Goldstone Deep Space Communications Complex (GDSCC) —commonly called the Goldstone Observatory— is located in California's Mojave Desert ( USA). Operated by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, its main purpose is to track and communicate with space missions. The observatory is part of NASA's Deep Space NetworkDeep Space Network DSN is an international network of radio antennas that supports interplanetary spacecraft missions, and radio and radar astronomy observations for the exploration of the solar system and the universe. The network also supports selected.

Goldstone radio telescopeIn contrast to an "ordinary" telescope, which produces visible light images, a radio telescope "sees" radio waves emitted by radio sources, typically by means of a large parabolic ("dish") antenna, or arrays of them. The largest radio telescope is the (Rus are also used in the search for ultra-high energy neutrinoThe neutrino is an elementary particle. It has spin 1/2 and so it is a fermion. Its mass is very small, although recent experiments (see Super-Kamiokande) have shown it to be above zero. The Moon is the only natural satellite of Earth. It has no formal name other than "The Moon" although it is occasionally called Luna ( Latin for moon to d by using large-aperture radio antennas. [1]
