The Right Reverend Vicki Gene Robinson (born May 29, 1947) is the ninth bishop of the diocese of New Hampshire in the Episcopal Church. Robinson was elected bishop in 2003 and entered office on March 7, 2004. Prior to becoming bishop, he served as assistant to the retiring New Hampshire bishop, amid great conterversy. Robinson is best known for becoming the first openly non-celibate gay bishop in the Anglican Communion, making Anglican views of homosexuality a major issue for the Church.

He moved to New Hampshire in 1975 and became Canon to the Ordinary in 1988. While attending the Seminary, he underwent therapy to rid himself of homosexual thoughts. The therapy was unsuccessful, but in 1972 he married, despite these doubts about his sexuality, of which he had informed his fiancée. After having two daughters (Jamee and Ella), Robinson publicly acknowledged his homosexuality. He and his wife divorced in 1986, but remain friends. Around 1989, Robinson met his current partner, Mark Andrews, who currently works in the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services. Robinson has one granddaughter, Morgan Isabella.
