The GMC Safari, counterpart to it's child company's Chevrolet Astro, has remained largely unchanged since it's inception in 1988. Boasted as a vehcile that will make you "...realize that life is too big for a minivan." It's specifications include a V-6 160 - 190 horsepower engine, depending on options and/or model year. It seats up to 8 passengers with optional towing capabilities. The Safari has never gotten better than 16 miles per gallon, no matter what year.
