The 2500 (or Pontiac 2.5) was a 2.5 L (151 in³) I4 piston engine used in the 1970s by General Motors. It was used in the 1977 Pontiac Astre and 1978-1980 Pontiac Sunbird. It used an iron block and head, pushrods, and had a 4 in (101.6 mm) bore and 3 in (76.2 mm) stroke.
